CHANDLER

I feel as if I belong here. The first night, everything seemed so daunting, with the luxury and how forward the people who are members here are. But now I am one of them. This is where I have people that understand me, and I feel accepted among people who generally aren’t socially accepted.

Most of my free time is spent here. Every time I arrive through the doors, I hope to get a note from my dominant, but it doesn’t always happen. I still don’t know his name or what he looks like. It should concern me more than it does, but part of me likes that he has a hidden identity. To say I don’t dream that he is Xavier sometimes would be a lie. I still miss him, and now that I am getting what my body craves, I realize that what we had truly was more than just a physical connection.

The drink that sits in front of me is red, and it reminds me of Gem’s lips. She is like the living version of a goddess. Every move she makes seems to flow like she is in a perfectly timed dance but at the same time commands the room. The men in black that work The Manor, which according to Lilly are Gem’s harem, used to seem like the security that keeps this place in order, but it is Gem. Nobody dares cross her.

Picking up my drink, I take a large swallow and enjoy the sweet tang with a hint of spice. The bartender here is an alchemist when it comes to his drinks. Why he is here and not at some high-end club, I will never know. Because he doesn’t talk, none of the Black Raven’s talk, and I don’t want to pry by asking Lilly what the deal is.

“What are you being all moody over here for?” Lilly slides up behind me, hugging me to her chest, and kisses my neck. Since my Dom gave me permission, Lilly and I have moved our relationship to being more than friends, it’s not what I would call a typical relationship, though. I don’t really know what it is, but I like it. Another item I didn’t know about myself, I am attracted to females as well as men, or at least I am attracted to Lilly.

“Just wondering if I am going to be sitting here all night alone or if my Dom is here somewhere.” I look around, wondering if one of the handful of men mingling in the bar is him.

Lilly spins me around so that I am facing her and positions herself between my legs. “There is more than one way to have fun.” She draws her finger over my chest, down my black silk shift of a dress, then places her hand on my thigh. “He did give you permission to mess around with me.” Her friendly grin turns seductive, and I have to keep from clenching my legs together.

Looking around the room one last time, a part of me hopes my dominant will appear and pull me away at Lilly’s forwardness.
